Why Do I Need A Copywriter?
A few years ago I decided to build a new computer. I was the Business Development Manager for an I.T. company, I knew where everything went, so I thought, “How hard can it be?”
Buying everything I needed, I rushed home, excited to build my first PC.
One week, a brand new processor, and an extra $400 later, I had my new PC.
What went wrong?
Knowing where everything went, didn’t help me put it in place. Trying to force the CPU onto the motherboard, I ended up breaking it.
After much frustration, I gave up and took it to a PC store, they charged me to fix the mess I had made, and build the PC for me. The kicker, had I paid someone from the start, I would have only been out of pocket an extra $65. Lesson learned.
Like paying a professional to build a PC, hiring a copywriter will end up costing you less, and give you better results for your business. Almost everyone can write, but, it takes more than being able to string a sentence together to create captivating content.
Knowing where to put words, doesn’t mean your copy will be successful. Unlike a computer, you may not even realise your copy isn’t working. Which will end up costing you a lot more in lost sales than the price of a new CPU and $400 in labour.
If you wanted to build a new house would you hire a professional builder, or would you ask Gary, the guy down the street who once put a tent up?
If you want powerful, persuasive, polished prose, hire a professional copywriter, hire me.
